AI Summit and Advanced Reactors Workshop

Organized by the International Framework for Nuclear Energy Cooperation (IFNEC), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and Regional Energy Training Centers (RETCs), the workshop took stock of the current developments of AI for nuclear reactors and the status, benefits and challenges for the future deployment of advanced reactors.

 The four-day program featured:

  • Presentations, keynote remarks and discussion sessions
  • A one-day AI summit showcasing innovation in nuclear technology
  • A two-day workshop on advanced reactors, focusing on deployment and gloabal readiness
  • Technical tours to the facilities of the Idaho National Lab
